Can astronauts feel pressure change?

Can astronauts feel pressure change? Like when an astronaut is in a space suit and the air is pumped out of the air lock, can astronauts feel the difference? Likewise, when coming back into an airlock and air is let in, can they feel it? I'm asking because I was watching a science fiction movie on Mars. It showed astronauts wearing space suits walk into a room that got sealed behind them and they didn't even notice the room had breathable air pumped in until they checked their gauges. I'm surprised they didn't see or feel the air surrounding them, even with space suits on.
