How to remove or neutralize hexavalent chromium from electrolysis solution?

I'm wanting to know of a chemical or something I can do to remove hexavalent chromium from the solution being used in the production of browns gas (aka HHO). The solution that I'm currently using is distilled water and potium hydroxide. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.
