Ears plugged for 4 days?

I developed a really bad chest cold about 5 days ago. I went to the doctor, he prescribed me the Z-Pack. Everything was fine. Then, BAM! I ended up getting a head cold about the third day of my antibiotics. (4 days total). My ears have been severly plugged up. I've tried everything from the paper towel and cup trick, to the salt and water in the nose, warm showers, steam. Nothing is working. I went to my doctor yesterday. He said I am starting to get bronchitis, which is weird because I feel 90% better. It's just my ears that are making me go crazy!! He gave me Claratin 10mg. Which I can only take at bed time. It helped yesterday, but hasn't helped AT ALL today. Can anyone give me some advice? I have a 12 week old, so any help would be appreciated. I'm trying to get over this cold faster so I'm able to take care of him. Thank you. =]
