Ok I want to know if this sounds like a stupid idea for a tattoo..?

I really like that idea a lot. Especially since you are going to get it on your actual foot. What you can do is instead of getting either one set OR two sets, get both. You could have the two sets at first and then gradualy it will go into one set as Jesus starts to carry you. I LOVE that poem as well. We have a huge picture of it with the poem on our wall. And I say if you like the tattoo then you should get it and not care what other people think. I used to do the same thing with my tattoos, and I wanted to make sure they weren't stupid and my tattoo artist told me never get a tattoo and worry about what others think get it because it means something to you and you love it. :)
